The Federation of Indian Communities of Queensland (FICQ) recently hosted a significant meeting with Fiona Simpson MP, Queensland’s Minister for Women and Women’s Economic Security, Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, and Minister for Multiculturalism.
The dialogue focused on a broad range of issues affecting women, Indigenous populations, and multicultural communities across the state. FICQ committee members and Minister Simpson shared insights and explored potential collaborative initiatives aimed at strengthening women’s economic opportunities and fostering greater inclusivity in Queensland’s diverse society.
