The Australia India Chamber of Commerce (AICC), in collaboration with the Consulate General of India in Melbourne, recently hosted a dynamic business networking session, bringing together 22 Indian startups and SME delegates with Australian business leaders.
The visiting delegation represented the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Young Indians (Yi) chapter, aiming to explore collaborations and investment opportunities across sectors such as Real Estate, FMCG, Education, TAFE, and Fintech.
The event was attended by Consul General Dr. Sushil Kumar, Chief Patron of AICC and former premier of Victoria Ted Baillieu, and AICC CEO Nikita Kaur Chopra. In their addresses, they highlighted the vast potential for Australia- India business partnerships and encouraged both sides to actively pursue innovative collaborations.
Ted Baillieu welcomed the Indian delegation warmly and stressed the value of bilateral ties in driving mutual economic growth, while Nikita Kaur Chopra underscored the role of the AICC in facilitating meaningful engagements between businesses from both nations.
The event served as a valuable opportunity for Indian and Australian stakeholders to share insights, forge connections, and lay the groundwork for future ventures—further strengthening the multifaceted relationship between the two countries.
