The association of cricket and Bollywood has been a long one. It appears that another love story might be brewing between the two worlds. Read on for details.
The tall and beautiful Anushka Sharma had fallen for her co-star Ranveer Singh in their first movie together Band Baaja Baaraat. This relationship, however, couldn’t survive to see its own band, baaja, baaraat happening. She was subsequently associated with the most desirable bachelor of Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor, too. Lately, the B-town is abuzz with the news about the actress’s newfound interest in cricket. A cricketer actually.
Tongues in Bollywood are wagging about the budding friendship between star-cricketer Suresh Raina and Anushka Sharma. The duo, reportedly, met each other in London, when the Indian Cricket Team was touring England. They have since then managed to not just stay in touch but also spend some ‘quality time’ with each other.
According to a few friends close to the couple, the two stars share a “good chemistry” and make an awesome pair.
Like Anushka, Raina too has had his share of link-ups in the past. He was earlier associated with the daughter of a union minister.
But for now, the duo seems to be keeping mum about their relationship, at least until they figure out where exactly they are heading. So, they are avoiding making public appearances for the time being.
Fortunately, Anushka and Raina have found each other just at the beginning of another big event that promises to bring together the best of their respective worlds – The IPL. So let’s hope we get to see Anushka cheering for the ‘Chennai Super Kings’ at the IPL this season.
