The International Day of Yoga was recently celebrated at the Victorian parliament in an event organised by Vasudeva Kriya Yoga (VKY).
Mary-Anne Thomas, Minister for Health and Ambulance Services, joined members of the Victorian parliament, Consul General Dr. Sushil Kumar, and community participants for the occasion.
The yoga and meditation session was led by Dr. Rajendra Yenkannamoole, founder of VKY, who guided attendees through practices focused on health and well-being. The event reflected the growing support for yoga as a means to promote physical and mental wellness within the wider Victorian community.
