India’s Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Minister of State for Education Jayant Chaudhary began his Australia visit by addressing the Australia India Business Council event in Melbourne on the theme ‘Shaping the Future of Skilling between India and Australia’.
Chaudhary highlighted India’s wide-ranging programs aimed at preparing its human resources with future-ready skills, a key step toward achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. He underscored that collaboration with Australia in skilling and education would deliver shared benefits.
Australia’s Minister for Skills and Training, Andrew Giles MP, welcomed the initiatives, pointing to the complementarity of strengths between the two countries. He also expressed strong appreciation for the contributions of the Indian diaspora to Australia’s economy and multicultural society.
