A rare year-long exhibition titled “God of Small Things” featuring the iconic oleographs of Raja Ravi Varma has opened at the Queensland Art Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) in Brisbane.
The exhibition celebrates Ravi Varma’s pioneering role in printmaking, which brought sacred and mythological imagery into the homes of millions, making art more accessible to the masses. His works, blending Indian tradition with European realism, continue to inspire and influence generations of artists and admirers.
