Bihar Diwas was celebrated in Sydney with a cultural programme organised by the Consulate General of India, in partnership with Bihar Jharkhand Community Australia and Purbi International.
Held at the Consulate premises, the event highlighted Bihar’s rich traditions through a series of performances, including dance, music, poetry and a thematic skit. The programme offered attendees an engaging insight into the state’s cultural diversity and heritage.
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha extended his greetings to the Indian community in Australia, appreciating their continued efforts in preserving and promoting the state’s cultural identity abroad.
The celebration brought together members of the diaspora, fostering a sense of pride and connection to their roots while strengthening community bonds.
