Patna, May 23 (IANS) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified preparations for upcoming elections by organising a two-day training camp for party workers in Patna.

The programme was conducted in the presence of senior BJP leaders and representatives associated with the Sangh, including BJP national president Nitin Nabin.

The training camp brought together state-level office-bearers, district presidents, representatives of various party wings and senior organisational leaders.

According to party sources, the sessions focused on strengthening booth-level operations, expanding the party organisation and preparing workers for the upcoming Assembly elections.

During the workshop, participants reportedly received guidance on booth management, strategic use of social media, public outreach related to Central and state government schemes and methods to counter opposition criticism.

Party leaders emphasised the BJP’s longstanding focus on organisational and ideological training for its cadre.

The slogan “Strong Booths, Strong Organisation” was repeatedly highlighted during the sessions.

The camp also included discussions on Bihar’s political landscape, caste equations and strategies being adopted by the opposition Mahagathbandhan alliance.

Workers were instructed to remain active at the grassroots level and ensure that government welfare initiatives reach every household.

Addressing party workers, Nitin Nabin urged cadres to strengthen the organisational structure down to the booth level and prioritise public engagement.

He said the BJP’s politics was centred not merely on gaining power, but also on the principles of nation-building and public service.

He also urged workers to present the achievements of the government before the public and counter what he described as misleading opposition narratives with factual information.

The leadership additionally stressed the importance of ideologically strengthening youth workers and new party recruits through such training initiatives.

BJP leaders expressed confidence that party workers would enter the upcoming electoral contests with renewed preparation and organisational focus.

The BJP recently won the Assembly elections in West Bengal and Assam, boosting the confidence of the party leadership.

The party has now intensified preparations for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections in 2027 and the Lok Sabha elections in 2029.
