New Delhi, May 24 (IANS) Delhi Lieutenant Governor T.S. Sandhu on Sunday highlighted the achievements of the city’s eight-year-old AI whizkid who rocked the tech world by becoming the youngest speaker at the India AI Impact Summit 2026.

In a message on X, Sandhu shared the photo of Ranvir Singh Sachdeva, praising his understanding of future technologies.

“Wonderful meeting young Ranvir Singh Sachdeva in Rishikesh a few days ago. At just eight years old, this exceptional child from Delhi has already developed a remarkable understanding of Artificial Intelligence, earning recognition as the youngest speaker at the India AI Impact Summit 2026,” said Sandhu on X.

“It is inspiring to see our youngest minds engaging so confidently with future technologies while embracing the values of responsible innovation and digital literacy. Such talent and curiosity at a young age reflect the immense potential of India’s next generation. A very bright future indeed awaits him!” said the Lieutenant Governor.

Sandhu is a big proponent of technology-driven ease of living and ease of business, often highlighting the transformative power of innovation, digital infrastructure and responsible technology.

Earlier this month, the Lieutenant Governor attended a technology conference and wrote on X, “A pleasure to deliver the keynote address on the Role of Technology in Nation Building at the NASSCOM Global Confluence 2026 in New Delhi. Emphasised the transformative power of innovation, digital infrastructure & responsible tech in shaping an inclusive & future-ready India.”

Recently, Sandhu also directed Delhi officials to hasten reforms to enhance Ease of Living and the transition towards a ‘Permitted Until Prohibited’ ecosystem, removing regulatory hurdles by June 30.

“Guided by the Prime Minister’s vision of reducing compliance burden and improving ease of living for citizens, every procedural reform must translate into greater efficiency, transparency, and opportunity for the people of Delhi,” the L-G told officials, including Chief Secretary Rajeev Verma.

Sandhu also signalled that the Delhi government would fast-track the Ease of Doing Business Bill, 2026, to streamline approvals and simplify compliance.

In a message on X, the Lieutenant Governor said, “Advised officers to ensure implementation of all remaining priority areas identified by the Government of India for Ease of Doing Business reforms by June 30, 2026, without fail.”
