New Delhi, June 18 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday inaugurated the Jan Kalyan Shivir in Pitampura under the theme ‘Seva, Suvidha aur Samadhan’, aimed at providing citizens easy access to various government welfare schemes and public services.

Speaking to reporters, Gupta said that Jan Kalyan Camps have been organised at 42 locations across Delhi. She noted that the initiative marks 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led Central government and one year of the Delhi government.

“We have organised Jan Kalyan Camps at 42 locations across Delhi. Citizens can obtain information and benefits related to various Central and Delhi government schemes for which they are eligible. All government departments have set up camps to facilitate these services,” she said.

The Chief Minister said that residents would be able to access multiple welfare schemes under one roof. “Whether it is a Pink Card, ration card, pension card, labour card, PM SVANidhi Yojana or Mudra Yojana, all these facilities will be available at these camps. The camps will run for three days — June 18, 19 and 20. People can come with their documents and avail themselves of the services,” she added.

Highlighting the government’s outreach efforts, Gupta said, “The triple-engine government is fully committed to serving people at their doorstep. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, these camps will contribute to fulfilling the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’.”

As part of a major public welfare initiative, the Delhi government is organising the Jan Kalyan Shivirs from June 18 to June 20 across the national Capital. The camps will function daily from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. and are designed to help residents access a wide range of Central and Delhi government schemes without having to visit multiple offices.

Services available at the camps include assistance related to ration cards, Ayushman cards, pensions, Aadhaar registration, Jan Dhan accounts, e-Shram cards, PM SVANidhi, PM Vishwakarma and PM Surya Ghar schemes, among others.

The Jan Kalyan Shivirs are part of a broader citywide outreach programme being conducted by the BJP to mark 12 years of the NDA government under Prime Minister Modi. The initiative aims to ensure that welfare benefits reach every eligible resident and to strengthen public access to government services across all sections of society in Delhi.

The camps are expected to witness significant participation from residents seeking information, registration and benefits under various welfare schemes.
