New Delhi, June 28 (IANS) Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said on Sunday that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India has achieved historic milestones in development, asserting that the Delhi government is committed to translating his vision into reality on the ground.

Speaking at a ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sammelan’ organised to commemorate 12 glorious years of service, good governance, development, and public welfare under the leadership of PM Modi, she said that through his relentless and selfless service without taking a single day off, the PM has carved out a new and robust identity for India on the global stage.

The Chief Minister participated in the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sammelan’ events held at Pitampura in the Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency, West Enclave in Shakurbasti, and Mahalaxmi Vihar in Mustafabad.

At Pitampura, she listened to the Prime Minister’s popular monthly radio programme, ‘Mann Ki Baat’, alongside public representatives, party workers, and a large gathering of citizens.

Addressing the gatherings, Chief Minister Gupta said that under the leadership of PM Modi over the past 12 years, the country has achieved historic growth across multiple sectors, including Digital India, modern infrastructure, Railways, expressways, airports, defence production, transparent governance, and Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

She emphasised that ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, aur Sabka Prayas’ has become the core foundation of the country’s development, and the Delhi government is continuously moving forward with the same spirit of service.

The Chief Minister asserted that the Delhi government is fully committed to implementing the Prime Minister’s vision on the ground, including water conservation (Catch the Rain campaign), ‘Vocal for Local’, and environmental protection.

Outlining the development blueprint for the capital, the Chief Minister clarified that since the formation of the government in Delhi, developmental projects across all 70 Assembly constituencies have been accelerated without any political discrimination.

Work on strengthening roads, sewage systems, clean drinking water, schools, and hospitals is underway on a war footing. Projects that had been stalled for years are now being completed at a rapid pace with the cooperation of the Central Government.
