In addition, two mobile phones worth Rs 10,500 and cash amounting to Rs 46,950, allegedly from liquor sales, were also recovered. The total value of the seized property was estimated at Rs 25,26,715.

Two accused were arrested and handed over to Dabhoda Police Station. They have been identified as Rajan Patel of Magodi village in Gandhinagar district and Ajit Thakor of Thakorvas in Lavarpur village.

Four accused remain absconding. Police identified them as Manoj Thakor of Lavarpur, Kailash Adivasi, Jivab Bangu and Mukesh Devasi, all stated to be residents of Kherwara in Rajasthan.

Investigators said efforts are underway to trace and apprehend them.

Recently, the Gujarat Police’s State Monitoring Cell (SMC) seized Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) valued at more than Rs 63 lakh and arrested a truck driver during a prohibition raid in Surendranagar district.
