UP Minister Rajbhar attacks Akhilesh Yadav, calls SP ‘Yadavwadi Party’

New Delhi, July 3 (IANS) Uttar Pradesh Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar on Friday, launched a sharp attack on the Samajwadi Party (SP), alleging that a recent incident in Meerut reflects caste-based “insults” within the party and coined the term “Yadavwadi Party.”

In his post, Rajbhar wrote, “‘YP’ meaning ‘Yadavwadi Party’—understand how it insults Dalits through this incident.”

He referred to an event held in Mawana, Meerut, where leaders and workers of what he called “Raja Babu aka Akhilesh Yadav ji’s party” had gathered for a meeting. Describing the setting, he said, “The stage was decorated. There were garlands and a microphone too. A few people were there as well.”

Rajbhar further claimed that a former minister from the Dalit community and a district president from the Gurjar community were present on the stage when tensions emerged following the arrival of a party functionary.

He wrote, “A former minister from the Dalit community, who belongs to the Valmiki caste by birth, was trying to grace the stage, while the district president from the Gurjar community was also attempting to be part of that adornment.”

According to his post, a “sector president” from the Yadav community then arrived, after which, he alleged, the atmosphere at the event changed.

Rajbhar stated, “Suddenly, the powerful entry of the ‘YP’—meaning ‘Yadavwadi Party’—sector president takes place, who is a Yadav.”

He further alleged that the tone of the event shifted, claiming, “With the entry into the program’s atmosphere, the stage’s song changes. Akhilesh Yadav ji’s party’s favorite song starts playing—‘When Bhaiya comes to power, we’ll pick you up from home with a loaded gun’.”

The minister also alleged that the party functionary questioned others present on the stage, writing, “Akhilesh ji’s sector president says—’This is the Yadav party’s event, how did you people end up sitting on the stage?’”

Rajbhar claimed that the situation created fear among those present, stating, “In front of the fuming sector president, everyone’s courage fails them. Many start trembling.” He further added, “The fear that the sector president is from Akhilesh ji’s own caste creeps into the minds of everyone on the stage. What if he complains to Bhaiya ji?”

Concluding his post, Rajbhar alleged, “Uttar Pradesh’s most backward and Dalit communities are noting every single insult from Akhilesh ji’s party. Keep watching. The time will come. There will be a split in the SP, and it will happen. After Moradabad, the beginning of the split has already started in Meerut too. Wait and see.”

He also tagged Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav in his post, further intensifying the political exchange.

The Samajwadi Party has not yet issued an official response to the allegations.
