Raipur, July 10 (IANS) The Chhattisgarh government has announced a comprehensive transfer order for several Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, affecting key positions at the state police headquarters, ranges, armed battalions, and district levels.

Senior officer Ajay Kumar Yadav (2004 batch) has been moved from Director of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose State Police Academy, Chandkhuri, Raipur, to Inspector General of Police, Rajnandgaon range.

Balaji Rao Somawar (2007 batch), previously IG Rajnandgaon Range, has been posted as Inspector General at the Police Headquarters in Nava Raipur.

Prashant Kumar Agrawal (2008 batch), who was serving as IG of Chhattisgarh Armed Police in the Bastar region, has also been transferred to Police Headquarters, Nava Raipur.

Prashant Kumar Thakur (2011 batch), earlier SP Surajpur, has been appointed Deputy Inspector General at Police Headquarters.

Ramkrishna Sahu (2012 batch) moves from SP Bemetara to Deputy IG at Police Headquarters.

Dharmendra Chhabai (2012 batch), former SP Kabirdham, has been posted as Commandant of the 8th Battalion, Chhattisgarh Armed Police in Rajnandgaon.

Shweta Rajmani (2012 batch) has been shifted from Commandant of the 19th Battalion in Bastar to Deputy IG, Chhattisgarh Armed Police, Jagdalpur.

Rajesh Kukreja (2004 batch), who was Commandant of the 1st Battalion in Bhilai, has been transferred as Deputy IG at Police Headquarters.

Bhavna Gupta (2014 batch), former SP of Balodabazar-Bhatapara, has been posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police at Police Headquarters.

Chandramohan Singh (2014 batch) has been transferred from the post of Director (Training/Operations), Fire and Emergency Services, to Superintendent of Police, Dantewada.

Ravi Kumar Kurre (2014 batch) has been promoted from SP, Koriya, to Assistant SP at Police Headquarters.

Suraj Singh Parihar (2015 batch), former SP Dhamtari, has been assigned as Commandant of the 4th Battalion in Mana, Raipur.

Trilok Bansal (2016 batch) has been transferred from SP, STF, Baghera, Durg, to SP, Bemetara.

Sunil Sharma (2017 batch) has been transferred from Assistant SP at Police Headquarters to SP Sarangarh-Bilaigarh.

Jitendra Kumar Yadav (2018 batch) has been transferred from SP Bijapur to SP Kabirdham (Kawardha).

Chavhan Kiran Gangaram (2018 batch) has been moved from SP Sukma to SP Balod.

Yogesh Kumar Patel (2018 batch) has been moved from SP Balod to SP Surajpur.

Gaurav Rampravesh Rai (2019 batch) has been transferred from SP Dantewada to SP Balodabazar-Bhatapara.

Umesh Prasad Gupta (2020 batch), former Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central), Raipur Urban, has been posted as SP Bijapur.

Mayank Gujjar (2020 batch) has been transferred from the Deputy Commissioner of Police (North), Raipur Urban, to the SP, Sukma.

Sandeep Kumar Patel (2020 batch) has been transferred from the Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), Raipur Urban, to the post of SP, Narayanpur.

Robinson Guriya (2020 batch) has been shifted from SP Narayanpur to Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), Raipur Urban.

Bhavna Pandey has been appointed SP, Dhamtari, from her previous role as Assistant SP in the Special Branch at Police Headquarters.

Harish Rathore has been transferred from SP, Chief Minister’s Security, to Superintendent of Police, Koriya.
