The third edition of the Empowering Migrants Expo, organised by Bhartiya Samaj, brought together government representatives and community stakeholders in Brisbane, with a focus on supporting and empowering migrant communities.
Consul General of India in Brisbane Neetu Bhagotia addressed the expo, which was organised for the third consecutive year.
The event brought together representatives from different levels of government and other stakeholders, highlighting the importance of supporting migrant communities while promoting inclusion and collaboration.
According to the Consulate General of India, Brisbane, the expo was a celebration of multiculturalism and provided a platform for key stakeholders to come together around issues affecting migrant communities.
The Consulate said the event highlighted the importance of creating stronger avenues of support for migrants and fostering greater cooperation among communities and institutions.
