The High Commission of India in Canberra hosted delegates of the 2026 Asialink Leaders Program at an evening reception, with discussions focusing on the growing Australia-India partnership and opportunities for deeper engagement.
High Commissioner of India Nagesh Singh addressed the gathering, which was followed by discussions on opportunities to strengthen cooperation across business, government and education, according to an update from the High Commission.
The reception also featured a performance of Indian classical music, offering delegates an insight into India’s cultural heritage and adding a cultural dimension to the programme.
The High Commission said the evening provided an opportunity to highlight the expanding partnership between Australia and India and explore avenues for greater engagement between the two countries.
