High Commissioner of India to Australia Nagesh Singh met Professor Amit Chakma, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Western Australia (UWA), at the university’s Perth campus to discuss ways to strengthen education and research cooperation between India and Australia.
According to the High Commission of India, the discussions covered institutional linkages, student mobility and UWA’s growing engagement with India.
The meeting focused on opportunities to expand education and research partnerships and strengthen connections between Indian institutions and the University of Western Australia.
The engagement highlighted the potential for closer institutional cooperation and greater student mobility as part of the broader Australia-India education partnership.
