The Rotary Club of Brisbane International celebrated Diwali with a special Dinner Meeting that brought members together in fellowship and purpose. The event underscored Rotary’s dedication to building strong community bonds and promoting awareness on key social issues.
Guest speaker Dr Kamal Singh Dhaliwal, a clinical psychologist from the Gold Coast, delivered a thought-provoking session on mental health awareness — an apt reflection of Rotary’s October focus on well-being.
The club also welcomed Area Governor Craig Carson, who shared district updates and details about the Dick Smith Grant currently open for applications.
Sixteen members and guests joined the evening, contributing to a joyous celebration of togetherness with delicious food and sweets. The fellowship, networking, and shared enthusiasm throughout the evening highlighted Rotary’s enduring commitment to service above self.
