The Federation of Indian Communities of Queensland FICQ held a successful special general meeting on 30 November 2025 to discuss the future development of the House of India project in Brisbane. Representatives from member organisations joined in person and online to review progress and outline practical steps to advance the initiative.
During the meeting, several key decisions were agreed to help facilitate the next phase of planning and implementation for the House of India. FICQ expressed its gratitude to all participating member bodies and executive committee members for their continued support and commitment to strengthening the Indian community’s presence in Queensland.
