The High Commission of India in Canberra recently celebrated Hindi Diwas in collaboration with the Canberra Hindi School, bringing together students and community members to honour the richness of the Hindi language.
The celebration included a lively tongue twister contest and a quiz for students, engaging participants in fun and educational activities. Adding to the cultural vibrancy, a Kavi Sammelan was organized, where poets and enthusiasts showcased the beauty and depth of Hindi literature.
The event highlighted the importance of promoting Hindi among younger generations and strengthening cultural ties, while also celebrating the language’s literary heritage in a spirited and interactive setting.
