Gold Coast, March 28 (Australia India News Newsdesk)
The Consulate General of India in Brisbane, in association with the Indian Community of Gold Coast (ICGC), will organise a Consular Camp to deliver key services to the Indian diaspora in the region.
The initiative is designed to make consular services more accessible for residents who are unable to travel to Brisbane. Services to be provided at the camp include Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) assistance, passport-related services, visa enquiries and other consular support.
The camp will take place on April 11, 2026, at the MCCGC Community Centre in Ashmore, Queensland, between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.
Participants are required to register in advance by scanning a QR code and must bring completed application forms along with all relevant supporting documents.
Officials said the outreach programme reflects ongoing efforts to improve service delivery and strengthen engagement with the Indian community in regional areas. The camp is expected to see strong participation from residents across the Gold Coast.
