New Delhi, Jan 19 (IANS) Delhi Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena on Monday said that the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is continuously strengthening sports infrastructure in the city and promoting sports culture to realise Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Fit India” and “Khelo India”.
Giving away medals to winners of LG Cup 2026, Saxena said, “For the first time, the DDA included sports such as Football, Archery and Shooting in addition to Golf in the LG Cup, so that more and more people can connect with these sports, and this sporting event can be given a more inclusive and widespread character.”
