11th I-Day of Yoga celebrated at St Kilda Town Hall in Melbourne

The 11th International Day of Yoga was celebrated at the St Kilda Town Hall in Melbourne on June 21, 2025, with the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.” The event was organised by the Consulate General of India, Melbourne.

Consul General Dr. Sushil Kumar addressed the gathering, along with several dignitaries, including Matt Fregon (Deputy Speaker, Victorian Parliament), Nina Taylor MP, David Southwick MP, Ted Baillieu (Former premier of Victoria), and Mayor Pradeep Tiwari of Maribyrnong Council.

The Art of Living Foundation led the community in an energising yoga and meditation session, which saw active participation from local residents and members of the consular corps.

A special highlight of the event was a graceful Artistic Yoga performance by students of Abhivyakti Dance Academy, adding a cultural dimension to the celebration.
