Care Kids for Kids Qld, a not-for-profit charitable community group of volunteers, has called upon community members to support their activities by donating items such as new or handcrafted donation of cloths, toiletry, educational items, soft toys, etc., so as to provide care to children in crisis.
There are currently over 9600 children in out-of-home care in Queensland alone. The volunteers from Care Kids for Kids Qld go around and collect new or handcrafted donation of cloths, toiletry, educational items, and soft toys and send them to Care Kids at their Bulimba Community Centre.
The members of Fiji Senior Citizens Assn of Qld Inc donated $500 recently towards the welfare of needy children.
