Rotary Club of Brisbane International conducted its inaugural Christmas Food Drive at Roma Street Parklands, serving over 100 people experiencing homelessness with hot meals, Christmas cakes, Jaffas, dignity packs, noodles and donuts. Mission Possible Volunteers contributed blankets, bags and clothing, enhancing the distribution of warmth and essential support during the festive season.
Sponsors including Arvin and Neelam Naidu, Surekha and Rajnish Padarath, NightOwl Sunnybank BP and Walkers Donuts enabled a full SUV of goods including juice, water and fruits. Rotaract Club of Brisbane International members joined the effort, with Rotary committing to expand the homeless food drive in 2026 with sleeping bags, ponchos and additional provisions.
