Mumbai, May 20 (IANS) Popular television actress Surbhi Chandna has turned producer with “Ishk Dum Aur Idli Rasam”.

However, the ‘Ishqbaaaz’ actress admitted that the journey of becoming a producer was emotionally overwhelming for her.

In a candid confession, she shared that although people often see the glamour attached to projects, not many understand the emotional breakdowns experienced by the creators.

Surbhi revealed that taking responsibility for an entire project ended up changing her emotionally and mentally.

Explaining the ordeal, she said that every day brought a new pressure, whether it involved creative decisions, production concerns, schedules, or making sure the team remained motivated.

Surbhi shared that while she maintained a strong image publicly, there were moments where the pressure deeply affected her.

The ‘Naagin 5’ actress stated, “People see the glamour later, but before that, there are countless silent breakdowns nobody talks about. There were nights I cried quietly because I wanted everything to feel perfect.”

Surbhi further shed light on the fear of disappointing herself, which became emotionally exhausting at times.

However, she said that despite all the difficult moments, the process of bringing the project to life helped her discover the strength she did not know existed within her.

Surbhi claimed that every obstacle she faced eventually taught her patience, emotional control, and leadership.

“I realised growth never comes comfortably. Every difficult night eventually made me stronger and more emotionally prepared for this journey,” she added.

Surbhi also did not forget to share the credit with her team and her loved ones, who continuously motivated her whenever she felt emotionally drained.

She said that despite all the challenges, she would still choose this journey again because of how emotionally fulfilling it eventually became.

Surbhi concluded by hoping that the audience would end up connecting with the sincerity with which they have made “Ishk Dum Aur Idli Rasam”.
