VTCS–Vedic Training and Cultural Services hosted the fourth annual Thyagarajana Aradhana in Perth, celebrating the enduring legacy of Carnatic music and Indian cultural heritage.
The event brought together artists, musicians and community members for an evening dedicated to classical music performances and the preservation of traditional South Indian art forms.
The Indian Society of WA (ISWA) praised VTCS for organising the programme, noting that such initiatives provide valuable opportunities for Perth-based artists to showcase their talent while keeping Carnatic music traditions alive.
ISWA also acknowledged the important role community organisations play in strengthening cultural identity and building meaningful community connections across Western Australia.
Organisers said the annual celebration continues to serve as a platform for promoting Indian classical arts and encouraging wider appreciation of cultural traditions among younger generations and the broader community.
