New Delhi, June 15 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday extended birthday greetings to Union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy, lauding his contribution to public service and his efforts towards strengthening key sectors of the economy.

In a post on X, PM Modi praised Kishan Reddy’s work and commitment to national development.

“Best wishes to Union Minister Shri G. Kishan Reddy Garu on his birthday. He is known for his hard work and passion for national progress. He has undertaken numerous efforts to strengthen the coal and mines sector, especially through reforms as well as policy measures. Praying for his long and healthy life,” the Prime Minister posted.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also conveyed his greetings, highlighting Kishan Reddy’s role in advancing the government’s vision for energy security.

“Birthday greetings to Union Cabinet Minister Kishan Reddy Garu. Your dedicated efforts as the Minister of Coal and Mines to make Modi Ji’s vision of an energy-sufficient India a reality are commendable. May you always remain blessed with good health,” Shah said on X.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised the minister’s contribution to the coal and mining sectors, posting: “Warm birthday wishes to Union Minister Shri Kishan Reddy Garu. His tireless efforts and dedicated work towards the growth and modernization of India’s coal and mining sectors continue to contribute significantly to the nation’s progress. I pray for his good health and a long life devoted to public service.”

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also extended his wishes, saying: “Extending my heartfelt birthday wishes to the Union Minister Kishan Reddy. May this occasion bring joy and the year ahead be filled with health and prosperity.”

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi wrote on social media: “Warm birthday greetings to Union minister for Coal and Mines Shri G. Kishan Reddy Ji. Wishing you good health, happiness and continued success in your service to the nation.”

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also greeted the Union minister, posting on X: “Heartfelt birthday wishes to the popular politician and honorable Union Minister Shri G. Kishan Reddy Ji. May you be blessed with a glorious, long, and healthy life—this is the prayer to Lord Tirupati Balaji.”

Leaders across the political spectrum joined in extending their wishes to Kishan Reddy, recognising his contributions to governance and his role in spearheading reforms and policy initiatives in the coal and mining sectors.
