The Consulate held its quarterly interaction with the Trade and Investment Queensland team to review upcoming trade and investment initiatives and explore opportunities to strengthen economic cooperation between India and Queensland.
The meeting was led by Gabrielle Troon, Director of International Markets and International Operations at Trade and Investment Queensland. Discussions focused on forthcoming trade and investment events in Queensland and ways to deepen collaboration to promote bilateral trade and investment.
The Consul General and Trade and Investment Queensland representatives exchanged views on expanding cooperation in sectors of mutual interest and reinforcing commercial engagement between India and Queensland.
Namrata Datt, president of the Australia India Business Council’s Queensland Chapter, also attended the meeting. She briefed participants on the council’s fortieth anniversary celebrations in Australia and outlined proposed commemorative events planned as part of the milestone year.
