The Consul General of India, Neetu Bhagotia, attended a luncheon organised by the Australia India Business Council’s Queensland Chapter, where business and government representatives discussed opportunities to strengthen trade and investment ties between India and Queensland.
During the meeting, Deepak Raj OAM, National Chair of the Australia India Business Council, briefed participants on the council’s forthcoming fortieth anniversary celebrations and the activities planned to mark the milestone.
The Consul General highlighted the importance of exploring new avenues to deepen trade and economic cooperation between India and Queensland and reaffirmed the commitment to strengthening bilateral commercial engagement.
The luncheon was attended by industry leaders and representatives from Trade and Investment Queensland and Business Chamber Queensland. Discussions focused on expanding investment partnerships, promoting business collaboration and enhancing economic cooperation across key sectors.
