Consul General of India in Perth Kajari Biswas paid a courtesy call on Hannah Beazley MLA, Western Australia’s Minister for Local Government, Disability Services, Veterans, Volunteering and Youth, with the two sides discussing opportunities to further strengthen cooperation between India and Western Australia.
According to the Consulate General of India, Perth, the meeting focused on opportunities to deepen India-Western Australia cooperation.
The discussion brought together India’s representative in Western Australia and a state minister whose responsibilities include local government, disability services, veterans, volunteering and youth.
The Consulate’s update said the meeting was aimed at exploring opportunities to further strengthen cooperation between India and Western Australia.
The engagement adds to the continuing interaction between the Consulate and the Western Australian Government on areas of mutual interest. It also provides an avenue for discussing cooperation at the state level alongside the broader Australia-India relationship.
The focus remained on discussions between Biswas and Beazley and opportunities to strengthen cooperation between India and Western Australia.
