High Commissioner of India to Australia Nagesh Singh met Laura Macpherson, CEO of Bendigo TAFE, Sharan Burrow AC, Board Chair of Bendigo Kangan Institute, and Mamta Chauhan, Executive Director of VETASSESS, to discuss Australia–India cooperation in skills and vocational education.
The discussions covered the India Automobile Centre of Excellence in Gandhinagar, trainer capacity building and the mobility of skilled professionals.
The meeting highlighted opportunities to strengthen collaboration in skills development and vocational education, while supporting greater mobility of skilled professionals between Australia and India.
