High Commissioner of India to Australia Nagesh Singh, accompanied by his spouse Prajna Singh, visited the Art Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney to view Avatar: Forms of Vishnu, a major exhibition tracing 15 centuries of art and storytelling from South and Southeast Asia.
They were welcomed by AGNSW Director Maud Page, Jane Pochon and Melanie Eastburn, the exhibition’s co-curator and Senior Curator of Asian Art at the gallery.
The visit provided an opportunity to explore the region’s rich artistic heritage and highlighted the deep and enduring cultural connections between Australia and India.
