Human beings are ever inquisitive and keenly observant. Thanks to his highly developed brain, man is able to conquer the world around him and live a successful life.
A childhood filled with innocence is the most beautiful stage of life for most of us. As children we dream without any filters and these dreams are unique to each of us. A few of us get lucky to realise them while others may not. As adults when we reflect back, everything what we thought for us as children or teenagers may not have worked out as per our plans.
There are so many factors like up-bringing, family environment, circumstances, lack of confidence and the like, that determine our success.
Setbacks/low achievements are many a times due to lower self concept and lack of motivation in individuals. Let us see how to break such barriers and succeed in life.
How to achieve your goals / aspirations that lead to success in every sphere of life?
Reflect on your life and identify the problem areas and what would you like to change. What are you looking for- a more successful career or a better relationship or a better health or peace of mind- only you can decide.
Accept your weaknesses and work consistently to overcome them. If the problem is identified the solution is much easier.
Do not hesitate to take help from the experts, remember nobody has a perfect life, not even your coach or expert.
The first step towards any success is learning to balance your inner world with the outer world.
Correct breathing exercises help you to connect with your inner self. Breath control has shown to directly influence the areas in the brain which lead to better decision making and increase your ability to absorb stress.
Reflecting on the entire day before retiring to bed really helps, so also diary writing, if you are used to it. This will give you a glimpse of the entire day and help you to realise the things accomplished and what could have been avoided. Often one may act without much thinking which may not be always right, and the power of seeing things in writing often helps you anchor your emotions and thought processes. A lot of corporations enforce writing ‘narratives’ – limited to 6 pages for business plans presentations or promotion cases to ensure that you refine your thoughts and words correctly.
So acknowledge your short comings, work on them and aspire to become a good human being, transform yourself, and metamorphose yourself. Remember you are only limited by what you haven’t tried yet.
