Consul General Neetu Bhagotia hosted the General Rawat India–Australia Young Defence Officers’ Exchange Programme delegates at the Consulate.
The Exchange Programme is a bilateral initiative between India and Australia, instituted in 2022 in memory of India’s first Chief of Defence Staff, General Bipin Rawat.
The programme aims to provide young defence officers from the tri-services of both countries an opportunity to understand each other’s operational environment, training philosophies, capabilities and professional ethos, while building strong personal and institutional relationships.
