Lucknow, July 4 (IANS) Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections next year, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin will begin a two-day organisational visit to Lucknow on Saturday, during which he is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with party leaders and office-bearers to review the organisation’s future road map and election preparedness.

Nabin’s visit, scheduled for July 4 and 5 after being rescheduled from July 3 and 4, is being seen as significant for strengthening the BJP’s organisational structure in the state and guiding the party’s newly-constituted Uttar Pradesh unit ahead of the 2027 Assembly polls.

He is scheduled to arrive at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow at around 11 A.M., where party workers will accord him a grand welcome. From the airport, he will travel to the BJP state headquarters through a roadshow passing via Alambagh, T.N. Chaturvedi Chauraha, Charbagh, Deendayal Smritika, Maharana Pratap Chauraha and Burlington Chauraha, with party workers expected to welcome him at multiple locations along the route.

At the BJP headquarters, Nabin will chair an important organisational meeting with state office-bearers, regional presidents, state morcha presidents and district presidents. The discussions will focus on the party’s future action plan, upcoming programmes and preparations for the Assembly elections.

During the visit, the BJP chief will also interact with Members of Parliament (MPs), Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs), senior party leaders and National Democratic Alliance (NDA) leaders.

He is also scheduled to guide party workers by addressing the Shakti Kendra Convenor Conference of the Awadh region, where organisational strengthening and booth-level mobilisation are expected to be key focus areas.

Later in the day, at around 4 P.M., Nabin will offer prayers at the Shri Hanuman Setu Temple in Lucknow before holding meetings with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, both Deputy Chief Ministers, BJP MPs, MLAs and MLCs. He will subsequently interact with the Uttar Pradesh BJP Core Committee.

In the evening, the BJP National President will meet prominent personalities from different fields at the Lucknow residence of Padma Shri awardee Dr Vidya Bindu Singh, followed by dinner with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

On Sunday, Nabin will begin his engagements with a tea interaction with former Uttar Pradesh BJP presidents before holding a joint meeting with NDA leaders in the state.

According to the BJP, the visit is aimed at sharpening the party’s electoral strategy, strengthening the organisation at every level.
