Jaipur, Sep 4 (IANS) BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) B.L. Santosh on Friday called upon party workers to work towards establishing a “triple-engine” government in Rajasthan, emphasising that coordination between the Centre, state and local governments would accelerate development in cities.

Addressing organisational meetings at the state BJP headquarters in Jaipur ahead of the local body elections, Santosh urged party workers to effectively communicate the achievements of the BJP governments to the public and work with full dedication to secure victory in the civic polls. He said stronger coordination between all three levels of government would help Rajasthan’s cities become partners in faster and more effective development.

Santosh held a series of organisational meetings at the state BJP office in Jaipur on Friday to review preparations for the upcoming local body elections in Rajasthan. During the meetings, he urged party workers to work with dedication, highlight the achievements of the BJP government and counter opposition propaganda effectively.

Santosh highlighted the BJP’s organisational style, saying the party works through advance planning, comprehensive preparation and collective participation. He referred to the principle of “a worker for every task and a task for every worker”, stressing that every party worker has an important role to play in the electoral process. He said the BJP’s campaign should focus on the achievements of the “double-engine” governments, while also highlighting the failures and internal differences within opposition parties.

Santosh called upon party workers to understand their responsibilities and perform their assigned duties effectively so that BJP-led local bodies could contribute to the development of Rajasthan’s cities. He urged workers to work towards establishing a “triple-engine” government, referring to coordination between the Centre, state and local governments for faster development.

During the meetings, Santosh also sought feedback from party workers and functionaries regarding preparations for the local body elections and provided guidance on organisational and campaign-related issues.

State-level office bearers and election in-charges associated with the BJP’s media, social media and IT departments also participated in the organisational meetings. The meetings were part of the BJP’s preparations to strengthen its organisational machinery and coordinate the party’s campaign ahead of the Rajasthan local body elections.

State BJP President Madan Rathore, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, National General Secretary and Local Body Election In-charge Harish Dwivedi, State In-charge Dr Radhamohan Das Agarwal, Co-in-charges Gajendra Patel, Rohan Gupta and Sangeeta Yadav, and State General Secretary (Organisation) Ajey Kumar were present.

Addressing party workers, Santosh said the BJP is a political organisation committed to social causes and guided by the “Nation First” approach, which gives the party its distinct identity. He called upon workers to take the achievements of the BJP government to the people with full dedication and seek their support and blessings during the elections.

Santosh also stressed the need for ideological clarity among workers and urged them to respond effectively to what he described as propaganda being spread by opposition parties.
