Brisbane International Film Festival opens with Italian film ‘Agon’

The Brisbane International Film Festival (BIFF) commenced this week with the Australian premiere of the Italian feature film Agon, drawing film enthusiasts, industry supporters and community leaders to its opening night.

Local community representative Umesh Chandra attended the launch and described the atmosphere as vibrant and engaging, marking a strong start to this year’s festival. The program includes a range of international films, exclusive screenings and Q&A opportunities with filmmakers.

Residents are encouraged to attend the festival, which continues across multiple Brisbane venues and showcases cinema from around the world.
