Consul General (CG) of India in Melbourne, Dr. Sushil Kumar, recently paid a visit to La Trobe University, where he held productive discussions with Vice-Chancellor Professor Theo Farrell and members of the senior leadership team.
The meeting centred on enhancing partnerships between India and La Trobe University in key areas such as higher education, research collaboration, innovation, and student exchange programs. Both sides expressed a shared commitment to strengthening academic and institutional linkages that benefit students and researchers from both countries.
Dr. Kumar also toured the university’s Digital Innovation Lab, gaining insights into cutting-edge research and technological advancements. During the visit, he engaged with several Indian students on campus, appreciating their academic pursuits and offering encouragement for their journey in Australia.
