Consul General of India in Brisbane Neetu Bhagotia visited the Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) in Brisbane on July 29 to review its functioning and reaffirm the Consulate’s commitment to delivering efficient and applicant-friendly consular services.
According to the Consulate General of India in Brisbane, Bhagotia interacted with staff members and applicants during the visit to gain first-hand feedback on the centre’s operations and the delivery of passport, visa and other consular services.
The Consulate said the visit formed part of its ongoing efforts to ensure smooth, hassle-free and efficient services for members of the Indian community in Queensland and neighbouring regions.
Bhagotia reviewed operational procedures at the application centre and discussed measures to further enhance service quality and streamline the processing of applications.
According to the Consulate, regular assessments of consular facilities help strengthen service standards and improve the overall experience of applicants.
The Indian Consular Application Centre processes passport, visa, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and other consular applications on behalf of the Consulate General of India in Brisbane. The Consulate said it remains committed to providing accessible, responsive and citizen-centric consular services to the Indian diaspora.
