Community will gather for prayers, kirtan and langar to mark Khalsa Sajna Diwas

The Indian Australian Association of South Australia (IAASA) is organising a Vaisakhi celebration at its Community Centre in Broadview, marking Khalsa Sajna Diwas 2026 on April 19 with participation from the local community.
The programme includes the recitation of Shri Sukhmani Sahib, followed by kirtan and langar, reflecting the spiritual essence of the festival.
The event will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
Vaisakhi, a significant occasion in the Sikh tradition, commemorates the formation of the Khalsa and is observed through prayer, service, and communal gatherings.
The event underscores the importance of community-led initiatives in preserving cultural heritage while fostering inclusiveness in South Australia’s multicultural environment.
