India’s Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Minister of State for Education, Jayant Singh, met with Amber-Jade Sanderson, Western Australia’s Minister for Energy and Decarbonisation; Manufacturing; Skills and TAFE; and Pilbara.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral ties in skill development, vocational training, and advancing green energy transitions. Both leaders discussed practical ways to build collaboration between Indian and West Australian institutions, particularly in developing a skilled workforce for clean energy, fostering TAFE–industry partnerships, and enhancing capacity in emerging technologies.
The discussions highlighted the shared vision of India and Western Australia to combine education, innovation, and sustainability in preparing future-ready workforces.
