The Consulate General of India in Sydney, in partnership with the Australia India Business Council (AIBC) NSW Chapter, organised a business interaction for a visiting delegation of Indian information technology and IT-enabled services companies on August 31.
The delegation, led by NASSCOM, comprised Indian IT and ITES companies and engaged with Australian businesses from a range of sectors, including BFSI, healthcare, cybersecurity, education, retail and government.
The session included a welcome address by Acting Consul General of India in Sydney Nirav Satariya, an industry presentation by Nidhi Gupta, Director–Global Trade Development, NASSCOM, and an address by Ravi Mandalika, president, AIBC NSW.
The visiting companies were introduced to participants before holding business-to-business interactions and networking with Sydney-based IT and professional services companies.
According to the Consulate General of India, the delegation had held meetings with major IT and professional services companies in Sydney and was travelling to Melbourne to participate in Intersekt 2026.
The engagement provided a platform for Indian technology companies and Australian businesses to explore commercial opportunities and strengthen links across the IT and professional services sectors.
