Jaipur, April 1 (IANS) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said on Wednesday that India possesses the world’s largest youth population, which is its greatest strength.

He underlined that teachers not only impart academic knowledge but also instill values, discipline, and a sense of responsibility toward the nation.

Educated youth, the Chief Minister said, play a vital role in shaping both their own future and that of the country.

Chief Minister Sharma was addressing the inauguration ceremony of a multipurpose auditorium at the Adarsh Vidya Mandir in Jaipur’s Raja Park.

He noted that the institution is not just a centre of academic learning but also a hub for promoting selfless service, cooperation, and compassion in society.

Congratulating the school management, teachers, and contributors, the Chief Minister described the newly built auditorium as a symbol of collective dreams and dedication.

He emphasised that schools are vital centres for nurturing moral values and cultural ethics among students and said that teachers, by imparting knowledge — the greatest gift — play a transformative role in shaping children’s personalities and guiding them toward a successful future.

Chief Minister Sharma highlighted that Adarsh Vidya Mandir schools are playing a significant role in spreading the message of humanity and unity in society.

He stressed the importance of instilling the spirit of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (The World is One Family) among students, adding that a nation whose youth remain connected to their cultural roots is unstoppable in progress.

These institutions, the Chief Minister said, help connect future generations with India’s rich spiritual and intellectual heritage.

Educated youth, he said, play a vital role in shaping both their own future and that of the country.

Reaffirming the state government’s commitment, Chief Minister Sharma said that development remains incomplete untill every child — whether in urban or rural areas — has access to quality education.

He added that the state government is working diligently to ensure inclusive and accessible education for all, alongside implementing a Youth Policy aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and creating job creators.

Highlighting governance achievements, the Chief Minister said that no incidents of paper leaks have occurred during the current BJP government’s tenure.

He added that the state aims to provide employment to four lakh individuals in the government sector and six lakh youth in the private sector.

As of now, 1.25 lakh appointments have been made, while recruitment for 1.33 lakh posts is underway, with additional vacancies already announced.

Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa also addressed the gathering, emphasising the role of education in holistic development and character building.

The Chief Minister inaugurated the auditorium by cutting the ribbon and unveiling a plaque.

He also felicitated meritorious students and donors who contributed to the project.

Among those present were BJP MLA Gopal Sharma and representatives from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, along with school management members, teachers, and students.
