Indian diaspora members joined commemorations marking India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s completion of 25 years in public service, with officials from the Consulate General of India in Melbourne taking part in the celebrations.
The consulate highlighted the milestone in a social media post, emphasising the themes of public welfare, women’s empowerment and youth development as key priorities of Modi’s governance.
The post credited his leadership and focus on transparent, results-oriented administration with broadening the reach of development initiatives and bringing significant changes across India.
It also noted that, guided by the principle of Nation First, Modi continues to pursue the goals of Viksit Bharat 2047 and Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
