The Consulate General of India in Sydney has invited entries for the 3rd Talent Show Competition 2026, aimed at promoting Indian cultural performances among communities in New South Wales and South Australia.
The competition is open to participants of all age groups and genders residing in NSW and South Australia.
Group performance categories include Indian classical dance, Indian folk dance and Indian popular dance. Each participating group must have a minimum of five and a maximum of 20 members.
Participants have been asked to submit group details along with a three-minute MP4 dance video by July 10, 2026.
According to the Consulate, shortlisted groups will compete on July 26 at the Redgum Function Centre in Wentworthville, Sydney.
Selected performers will also participate in grand performances scheduled for August 16 as part of celebrations marking India’s 80th Independence Day at the Darling Harbour Theatre, International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney.
