International Day of Yoga celebrated at Queensland Government House

The Consulate General of India, Brisbane celebrated the International Day of Yoga 2025 at Queensland’s Government House on June 21, with the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.”
The Governor of Queensland, Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, attended the event and joined participants in the yoga session, adding significance to the occasion.
The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of a large number of yoga practitioners from various nationalities, who gathered to embrace the benefits of yoga and its message of unity and wellness.
Organised by the Consulate General of India, the celebration highlighted yoga’s growing global appeal and its role in promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
