PERTH, June 23 / INDIAN ABROAD NEWSDESK

Isha Foundation Perth partnered with the Consulate General of India in Perth and several community, educational and healthcare organisations to promote yoga across Western Australia as part of the International Day of Yoga 2026 celebrations.

According to information released by Isha Foundation Perth, its partners included the Indian Society of Western Australia, Perth Children’s Hospital, the Baha’i Community, the WA Telugu Youth Association, universities, schools and corporate organisations, with programmes aimed at making yogic practices accessible to the wider community.

The foundation said its outreach during June included more than 600 registrations for foundation and Yogaveera programmes, over 250 registrations through institutional collaborations and a total community reach of more than 850 participants.

According to the organisers, the initiative was made possible through the support of partner organisations, volunteers and participants who contributed to expanding awareness of yoga and holistic wellbeing across the region.

The foundation said the momentum generated during the International Day of Yoga celebrations would continue, with additional collaborative programmes and community outreach activities planned throughout July.
