Mumbai, May 15 (IANS) Jain Irrigation Systems on Friday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 19 crore for the fourth quarter (Q4) of FY26, compared to a net profit of Rs 27.9 crore in the corresponding quarter last financial year (Q4 FY25).

Despite the loss, the company’s revenue from operations rose 4.3 per cent year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 1,824 crore in the March quarter, up from Rs 1,748.7 crore in the year-ago period, according to its stock exchange filing.

Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) increased 7.3 per cent to Rs 239.9 crore from Rs 223.6 crore last year.

EBITDA margin also improved to 13.2 per cent from 12.8 per cent in the same quarter a year ago, as per its filing.

The company said its reported earnings were impacted by exceptional items, deferred tax remeasurement impact and non-cash finance cost adjustments related to 0.01 per cent non-convertible debentures (NCDs) and EBCs.

Adjusted profit after tax rose 11.6 per cent year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 51.8 crore during the quarter, according to its filing.

For the full financial year FY26, Jain Irrigation reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 40 crore against a profit of Rs 25.7 crore in FY25.

However, annual revenue increased 10.7 per cent to Rs 6,399.5 crore from Rs 5,779.3 crore in the previous fiscal, while EBITDA rose 12.8 per cent to Rs 808.9 crore.

Adjusted profit after tax grew 36 per cent to Rs 133.1 crore for the year, as per its regulatory filing.

The company’s Hi-Tech Agri business continued to remain the key growth driver during the quarter.

Revenue from the segment rose 7.8 per cent year-on-year to Rs 665 crore, while EBITDA climbed 21.8 per cent to Rs 131.7 crore.

The Indian domestic business recorded growth of 21.3 per cent during the quarter.
