The growing popularity of Kho Kho in Australia and opportunities to strengthen sporting ties between Australia and India were discussed during a meeting between High Commissioner of India to Australia Nagesh Singh and representatives of Kho Kho Australia.
According to the High Commission of India in Canberra, the discussions focused on the increasing popularity of the traditional Indian sport in Australia and opportunities to deepen sporting ties.
The meeting also explored ways to promote Kho Kho among the wider Australian community, the High Commission said.
The interaction highlighted the role of sport in strengthening connections between Australia and India and creating greater awareness of India’s traditional sporting heritage in Australia.
